These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SharePane (sharepane.com). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance

By ticking the consent box at sign-up or by using the service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, you must not use SharePane.

Account Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be of legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SharePane to:

• Transmit or store unlawful content, including content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
• Record sessions without informing participants or without a lawful basis; recording is available only when enabled, and all participants are notified before recording begins.
• Send harassing, defamatory, or abusive content, or impersonate others.
• Attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, or reverse-engineer the platform beyond what is permitted by law.
• Use the service for automated abuse, spam, or unauthorized scraping.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to content you share through SharePane. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the service. SharePane and its trademarks remain our property.

Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security risk, with notice where practicable.

No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SharePane and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including consumer protection law).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country where you reside. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable EU consumer rules.
